Life

Pieter Aspe was born on 3 April 1953 and is a Flemish writer.Pieter studied Latin-Sciences in the St. Leocollege in Bruges. He has 2 children and 2 granddaughters. Aspe is a full-time writer. Previously he worked as a warehouse manager, salesman and a photographer.

Literary career

Pieter Aspe writes crime novels: most of the stories are set off in Bruges. His first 10 crime novels were filmed for VTM. Aspe wrote two childrens' books called “Bloedband” and “Luchtpost”. His books were also been translated in German and French.
